Ash openly admits to being lazy and says his looks have given him ‘an easy, blessed life filled with women’. He has an easy going laid back charm that he often uses to his advantage, and describes himself as an ‘unabashed flirt, who doesn’t want to settle down’.
He currently single and prefers it that way ‘life is so much less complicated without being tied down’. His last relationship was over a year ago, ‘it just fizzled out, she didn’t trust me and I ended up getting hurt’.
He is a big party boy and claims to be well known in Manchester, where he grew up – he can’t imagine living anywhere else. He’s passionate about having a good time, stating ‘life’s too short. I think everyone should make the most of each day by having it large’.
The 26-year-old still lives at home with his mum as he enjoys her cooking. He says ‘my mum’s one of my best friends, I’m a mummy’s boy and tell her everything – she’s one of the lads’. He uses being brought up by women to his advantage and knows how to turn on the charm, claiming his good looks have got him everything and anything he’s wanted from an early age.
Ash was always part of the ‘good-looking, popular group’ at school and was even friends with the majority of his teachers. His favourite subject was PE as it just came naturally to him: ‘It was always a subject that ensured I caught the ladies eyes’.
He is now a model, but having previously worked for his dad’s building firm from a young age, he isn’t afraid to get dirty – despite his blessed looks, he’s known by his family and friends as ‘the local handyman’. David Beckham is his ultimate idol – he sees himself as ‘a younger, better looking version’ of the footballer.
Ash – who also studied law at college, and business and management at university – attends his local gym daily as well as playing football three times a week usually spends the whole summer in Ibiza ‘working and getting wrecked’. He classes himself as a ‘cheeky chappy’ and a ‘class clown’ and believes he’ll be a ‘laid back, handsome housemate who’s always up for fun’.

In tonight’s episode he said his mum would be so upset with him if he shagged in the house. Right Ash don’t shag in the house but it’s ok to call people maggots and slugsworth and giggle and egg people on when they bully other housemates.

Totally agree, although when his Mother was with Emma a couple of weeks ago she did say that Helen will not be welcome at her house. So we can only hope that that when he leaves he will heed her warnings.
I don’t mind Ash, he seems like a cool guy to me. I’m not sure why everyone is so down on him, is it just because he is with Helen, that’s crazy if it is.
Ash seems ok, got a bit upset with jake, but think that was his pride been dented, can’t see why ashley hates him though

That’s just it dobbin Ash has far to much pride and it’s way to easily dented in my opinion. He has improved lately as has Helen but I’m sure his arrogance will rear it’s ugly head again before long.

I think ash is the only normal person in the bb house, the rest of em should be sent back to the Jeremy Kyle show where they truly belong.
From watching ash in big brother, I can see he handle himself well and times where he responded by to the actions of other housemates and understandable but new his actions were wrong and i respected that. Him being bowed by the public would have to be his relationship with helen(guilty by association) which is a reaction expected but not understood and feel he shouldn’t be judge by it.

He’s been much better lately I must admitt but I’m not going to forget about the ‘maggot’ comment and the way he hit the roof when his fellow housemates put him up for nomination. Plus he joined in a lot with Helens bitching at the start which is fine as everyone britches but him and Helen go way too far, insulting people’s appearance because they think they are :happy:gods gift. Thats my opinion I’m going to ignore the part where you said ‘anyone with a personality would opt for Helen and Ash over Ashleigh and Chris’ cos frankly it’s just drivel. :happy:

Your right Ashleigh and Chris do bitch just as much as Helen and Ash but the difference is Ashleigh and Chris bitch about Helen and Ashes behaviour, whereas Helen and Ash bitch about people’s physical appearance and they constantly mock people in a school playground way both behind there backs and to there faces which is why I for one dislike them!
Also when Helen is bitching she does it to as big a group as possible because she is always trying to manipulate other housemates to dislike her chosen victim of the time. That is partly why she has been both acused and warned by big brother for bullying. Sorry if you don’t agree with me I’m just trying to explain what it is some of us dislike about her.
