Mark says his friends would describe him as a ‘lovely person that always looks gorgeous. I’m a good loyal friend until people cross me – then it’s another story’.
He is very focussed on his image, getting his hair professionally done four times a week and a spray tan once a week. He also has ‘HD’ eyebrows, which he describes as ‘proper massive and razor sharp’. He even claims to be ‘a bit psychic’, using tarot cards to decide what to wear.
Mark doesn’t like that he has a short temper and never backs down from an argument: ‘I often fly off the handle over the smallest things like if the wind blows my hair out of place’. However, he reckons his lack of a ‘filter’ is part of his ‘charm’: ‘I just say what I want when I want and never think before I speak.’
He finds it difficult dating: ‘my problem is that I’m beyond picky, no one is ever good enough for me’.
Mark believes he’ll be a ‘fabulous, fun housemate’ who will always make people laugh. He knows how to keep a ‘high energy’ and can’t wait to give people makeovers – ‘there’s going to be a Scouse brow day once a week where I’ll give all my fellow housemates a Scouse brow’. He claims he gets on with everyone apart from ‘dickheads’ and judgemental people.
He’s ridiculously competitive and hates to lose: ‘If I don’t win, I just sulk’. He’d hate any mental tasks and says ‘I’d be an epic fail if I had do an IQ test or any general knowledge quizzes’.
He was on Shipwrecked in 2009!!! He was also on the X factor but didn’t get through the first audition. He’s cool though I think he’s going to be a very good housemate. 🙂

With him being a savvy Scouser, I don’t know why he hasn’t realised what a poisonous bully Pauline is.
Ah very annoying and clearly the biggest wannabe out of the lot with his reality show history.
And he’s part of the bitchy gang. He’s quite bitchy himself, moany and is overacting way too much. But I do like the fact that he was starting to question Pauline. Then again Helens here to the final and he will be her bitch for as long as he remains.
Think Mark is seeing the poison PAULINE is dishing so hopefully he will not be in her mix.
Can’t decide if he’s moving away from Pauline coz he’s finally seen her for the bully that she is or if he’s been swayed by the crowd’s ‘get Pauline out’ chants. Think it’s the latter.

Hilarious when describing Pauline and the shopping order – apparently she can make her own ginger biscuits at less than shop price of 50p per packet. She also makes her own loo rolls!
I get really bad vibes off him. He’s very fake in the way that he sucks up to whoever has the power. In the first week, it was Pauline who he followed around. Then last week, when everyone thought it was Jale, he started to turn on Pauline and make up with Jale. This week, he’s suddenly hanging around Toya.
He’s clearly desperate for fame but has no talent which means he’s resorted to reality TV (Shipwrecked, X Factor, Big Brother). Not to mention his accent is annoying as hell.
His Whiney accent gets in my nerves.
The way he drones on in that repugnant Liverpool accent is becoming like fingernails down a blackboard to me, have to put my fingers in my ears. Plus like all scousers thinks he’s funnier than he actually is. Don’t like him at all, baffled by him from day one :down: :down:

Found it so annoying when he said that Marlon shouldn’t have spoken to Toya the way he did because she’s a woman… It’s irrelevant, so because she’s a woman she can say and do whatever to upset him and he can’t give anything back! Can’t work out why it’s Marks place to say anyway

How can I enjoy BB with Mark’s scouse accent assaulting my left ear drum & Helen’s Lancashire accent mugging my right ear drum. God, the North West really got the short straw when it comes to regional accents. Also, I didn’t say all scousers are like Mark, I said all scousers think they are funnier than they actually are, we’ve had to put up with your lousy comedians forever!!!
