“Cheeky, resourceful and tactile” ladies’ man Pav comes from an affluent background and has a traditional Sikh family. He is keen to educate the world on Sikhism and “show them that Sikhs are liberal loving people who know how to have fun”.
Pav says he has come from a ‘good, honest and hardworking background’ and has been taught to respect everyone, “stand my ground, protect my religion and always stand up for myself”.
Due to his beliefs, Pav has never cut his hair and has always worn a full turban when out socially. Although he has traditional values, his beliefs are modern and he “won’t have an arranged marriage, but will marry someone I love and care for no matter what religion they are”.
Pav works for his family’s property business, where he is equal partners with his dad and uncle. He describes it as his dream job but feels he needs a “fit secretary who doesn’t mind a quickie in the photo-copy room”. He also lives with his family, but he wouldn’t have it any other way: “we’re one big team, and my family mean everything to me”.
He is recently single; his ex was his best friend from university, but they split up because they felt better off as friends. Pav likes girls that are short, fun and fit, and he admits to being shallow: “looks are important to me and a strong fashion sense”.
He’s not looking for love in the house but if he’s interested in someone he won’t hide his feelings and will try it on. He says: “put a few hot girls the house please, you can’t w**k over a personality”.
Pav gets on well with fun, level-headed people. He calls himself a prankster and says he is always causing mischief; in the house, he reckons he’ll get on particularly well with Mark as the Scouser is always looking for fun. Pav is 100% certain that he will win Big Brother because he’s genuine and he will be ‘doing it for the Sikhs’.

I like Chris but found it a little odd and unfair on Pav , maybe showing another side to him.

No it wasn’t Chris that planted the idea in Ashleighs head. When Chris, Mark and Ashleigh were chatting to the ex housemates both Bianca and Danielle warned Ashleigh that Pav was obsessed with her. I know you dislike Chris, but at least if you are going to slag someone off, get your facts right.

I think most of the housemates accepted Pav and Zoe, although there was bound to be a little resentment them being newbies, and things were going fine until the power alliance heard from Bianca and Danielle not to trust Pav and that he was obsessed with Ashleigh. I think Danielle and Mathew also said that Pav was a ‘snake in the grass’ and to be wary of him.
Paranoia reigns in that house and a bombshell like that is bound to cause trouble.
Then to top it off Helen announced that ‘the trouble-makers are here’
So it’s been a combination of things why Pav is suddenly being given the cold shoulder. Please don’t blame it all on Chris. He may have handled the Ashleigh/Pav thing the wrong way, but he meant well I’m sure.

How do you know Pav never does or say those things? We see 40 minutes of very heavily edited footage. For all we know Pav could be a great guy for 40 minutes and an absolute arsehole for the other 23 hours and 20 minutes. :doh:

Pav clearly said in the diary room he never had those intentions in his mind towards Ashleigh – maybe ashleigh talks too much and everyone looks at the person talking then chris just read it wrong with his sick twisted jealous mind cos he is in love with ashleigh

I think Pav has just become a scapegoat for many in the house. In terms of Chris’ rapport with Pav, ut is absolutely disgusting, bitter and two faced. There is a reason why nobody has seen Pav staring apparently. I highly doubt Chris would confront Ash or Winston about “staring” at Ashleigh. From what I see Pav is the most genuine hm. And can anyone really blame him for being quiet? A word he says is scrutinised and turned against him. And with regards to Pavs personal behaviour and his VT making him “fake” then i think its safe to say all hms are fake then.

Chris has let himself down a bit this week but has been one of the few decent human beings in this years Big Brother in my opinion, and so deserves a second chance.
Pav still hasn’t had his first chance as for some reason both the public and the housemates have been all over him from minute one. I hope he stays and has an easier week next week.

A lot of people seem to think Chris (not Christopher) is creepy……
On big brothers big mouth=

3) Joe Swash said ‘euw he makes me want to have a bath – something about him i dont like….. weird manorisms and creepiness.
4)Vicki Michelle – Chris is professing to like Pav then stab him in the back.
5)Sean (Ashleighs boyfriend) said Chris is over reacting and treating Pav badly
6)Judi James said that Chris accuses to Pav he stares too much at ashleigh yet look at Chris who looks at Ashleigh a lot and engineering – trying to get Ashleigh to cry again by saying ‘oh you got a letter from your boyfriend’ standing waiting for a moment to get in and get a hug from Ashleigh then he homed in and hugged ashleigh and held on too long for comfort. Then Ashleighs body language was turning away like she didnt want the hug. Its extremely unfair after he has accused pav of being the one lurking around ashleigh and she doesnt want it – it doesnt look right. Hypocritical. When he was lying in bed and ashleigh took his hand and stroked it and said your hands are hot…. chris is besotted and he doesnt want anyone else getting near her. He wants her for himself.
in the hierarchy of the house chris is a runt and he was getting picked on before suddenly the newbee housemates move in and chris’s rank is moved up by chris picking on pav so he moves up to a higher level
Poor Pav has become a skapegoat and an easy target
Chris has an alterior motive regarding having a go at Pav – Ashleigh is so astute, she would have realised IF Pav had been perving on her but Pav has not been perving. Instead Chris is protecting ‘his safe alliance’ cos remember Chris and Ashleigh had an alliance of necessity that started when they became power housemates together and also they were both outsiders, it has become a genuine alliance where they care about each other and any threat to that alliance Chris has now shown he will absolutely do something to counter that threat and he sees Pav potentially as a threat and wanting to spend time with Ashleigh so he uses that chance to undermine Pav.
When Chris and Pav hugged Chris commented that Pav gives one arm hugs – this was Chris in fight mode because he clasped both his arms around Pav – a control hug. Chris has a fight capacity and Pav was in flight mode which is why he offered the one arm but the other half of his upper body was wanting to get away from Chris. It was aggressive cos Chris was basically accusing Pav as being a perv which is not the truth – its Chris who pervs over Ashleigh as he admitted he looks at Ashleigh a lot and he loves her.
Chris is never direct with anyone. When Helen challenged him, when steven challenged him – Chris just beats around the bush.

This is not a typical BB experience, I know they signed up for the BB experience but this bordering emotional abuse, They expect Pav to naturally fit in and its all down to him to make this happen (As Ash suggested). Regardless of HMs paranoia they consistently degrade him behind his back, refusing to acknowledge a person’s value or worth will leave anyone feeling useless or inferior especially in an inescapable environment. This is hard to watch, his being singled out so easily its destroying his sense of security and it breaks my heart. Everyone else can get away with murder but the moment Pav puts a foot wrong action is taken against Pav (further isolation), they be little him by being subject of gossip which init self can have damaging effect on Pav’s reputation inside & outside this experience. Anything Pav says is twisted, distorted and misrepresented if this doesn’t stop, Pav will naturally feel guilty about things that are not even his fault (i.e. Chris suggesting Pav is perving over Ashleigh). When you are cornered into this situation for 24 hours a day anyone who is being abused will be convinced that it is futile or dangerous to even confront the situation with the other HMs, such a quicksand dilemma and massive impact on his self-esteem.
BB fans intervention is now required we need to support Pav this cannot go on, Let us cheer this week and ensure pav stays in this week , the other HMs will hopefully lighten up and realise that they need to be team players and not so quick to excludes.
I actually didn’t like Pav because he is a bit boring but I think he should STAY just to piss the others off!
They need to give the guy a break! He’s not playing a game and he DEFINITELY isn’t perving over Ashleigh!!

Theres alot of bullying going on this year…Pav, Christopher, are the remaining victims in the house. I do think the housemates have some personal issues with the bsckgrounds of these victims….
