“Cheeky, resourceful and tactile” ladies’ man Pav comes from an affluent background and has a traditional Sikh family. He is keen to educate the world on Sikhism and “show them that Sikhs are liberal loving people who know how to have fun”.

Pav says he has come from a ‘good, honest and hardworking background’ and has been taught to respect everyone, “stand my ground, protect my religion and always stand up for myself”.

Due to his beliefs, Pav has never cut his hair and has always worn a full turban when out socially. Although he has traditional values, his beliefs are modern and he “won’t have an arranged marriage, but will marry someone I love and care for no matter what religion they are”.

Pav works for his family’s property business, where he is equal partners with his dad and uncle. He describes it as his dream job but feels he needs a “fit secretary who doesn’t mind a quickie in the photo-copy room”. He also lives with his family, but he wouldn’t have it any other way: “we’re one big team, and my family mean everything to me”.

He is recently single; his ex was his best friend from university, but they split up because they felt better off as friends. Pav likes girls that are short, fun and fit, and he admits to being shallow: “looks are important to me and a strong fashion sense”.

He’s not looking for love in the house but if he’s interested in someone he won’t hide his feelings and will try it on. He says: “put a few hot girls the house please, you can’t w**k over a personality”.

Pav gets on well with fun, level-headed people. He calls himself a prankster and says he is always causing mischief; in the house, he reckons he’ll get on particularly well with Mark as the Scouser is always looking for fun. Pav is 100% certain that he will win Big Brother because he’s genuine and he will be ‘doing it for the Sikhs’.

I like Pav. I don’t think it’s fair to bring in new contestants weeks after the show began. It is a shame that Pav doesn’t seem to understand this fully. Don’t think BB should do this in the future as not fair on the contestant.

They’re favourites to go this week, Mark way in lead by 50% on the poll pages! followed by Pav then Chris. Christoper and Winston have fewest votes in the peoples polls so far

I know its a long shot, but I’d love Pav to be saved, both him & Christopher are to me the best 2 in there.

Two days is a long time in the BB house!
Since your post Mark is sunk even lower and seen as underhand (“I would take the money and share it all”) – you’re a liar!!!!!! Pav did himself no favours last night apparently he’s now a “cool” one and feels free to pass comments on Ashleigh and Chris but also turning a blind eye to Ash and Mark to not rock the boat. If he indeed did watch before he entered the house he must be suffering from amnesia. He’s out tonight which is a shame as I think once favourite Winston could have gone.

For a while I was ambivalent about Pav, but I’ve watched and wondered and now I think Pav is playing a very clever game.
He’s siding with helen now and hoping that Chris and Christopher will leave tonight. If they did (please not) I think he would swop sides instantly and be Ashleighs best friend. He knows how much public support she has and he and Ashleigh against all the others would give him his place in the final.
I could be wrong, but it’s just an opinion.

Hello Jenny, no you are not wrong. I felt Pav. all too quickly suggested Chris. for nomination then stood back whilst the other HMs. confirmed his suggestion. Also last night in the garden he was quizzing Chris. on his “taking” of the money. There was no such interrogation from him towards Mark or Ash.

Yes I seen him siding with Helen too, snake in the grass, will give him a vote or three tonight, it will make me feel better 😉

Pav is a newcomer and has sat quietly observing for days and listening and seeing who are the most trustworthy and decent people to be with.. He is a very smart man and has chosen the correct side because he can see that Helen always talks the truth about a person and confronts them.. Its really not her fault that she has been placed in that house with that lot who are driving her crazy with so much bs . When Pav chose Chris he was 100% correct in his choice because he can see how Chris acted with Ashleigh and why not get rid of someone who attacked you for no reason and accused you of perving and acted like you were a piece of scum as soon as you arrived.. Why should Pav not vote out Chris .. I would

And also Chris made it clear that he was not welcome into the relationship that he and Ashleigh had right away told him to get away and not even look at her.. Why should he like Chris? or Ashleigh or their muppet Christopher.. Pav was not welcomed into that group so of course he goes to the other where they are making him feel welcome.. Chris and Ashleigh are two stuck up people who just sit around the bedroom and dont like others coming into their little cozy chats.. Pav did a good thing

I came across one of your comments on Helen’s page were you said Big brother are sheltering Ashleigh. Well not only is that the point of her being elected by the British public to win the immunity deal but since your a Helen fan you should even be more understanding of the circumstances and therefore your comment seems hypocritical. This is because by Helen winning the pass to the final she has been sheltered every week (unlike the one week Ashleigh has). So that’s a bit of a bias statement you made there. I am not in favour of people slating Helen’s family or pass I purely comment on the behaviour I see on the show. However although Ashleigh can be manipulative, with age comes responsibility so since Helen is older and a mother on top she needs to learn how to rise above the smack she might get thrown her way by Ashleigh and behave more maturely even if her getting angry could be justifiable. Beside all that Helen has been insulting people from day one so you cannot be surprised if no one pays attention to Ashleigh beating Helen at her own game as unfortunately her past behaviours and even current behaviours has put her in a position were she will never be seen as the victim even if she is because of how many people she has victimised over through the series so far,

Your comment is one of the most thoughtfully considered, eloquent and justifiably correct that I have read on this site today.

I don’t dislike Pav at all – I just think he came in to the house at a big disadvantage. He has shown great listening skills and the fact that he sits and observes before he makes his judgement, shows maturity. But I do think – purely because he was a late arrival – he will be used, by both ‘teams’ if you like….but he will not make the final. I hope Ash goes before him, I’m afraid whoever made the comment that Pav is the sacrificial lamb is correct.

@Bob I’m not too sure bud, I haven’t really been watching Big Brother or BBBOTS for weeks.

I just come here to flirt and talk Golf these days!

@John Kane I jest of course.

I haven’t seen anything from Pav but I reckon that works both ways.

You have to actually get off your backside to vote and because he’s pretty invisible in there I can’t imagine too many people being bothered enough to actually pick up the phone to get rid of him.

Very surprised Pav stayed, I thought Winston was favourite to win this, didn’t mind either one going to be honest. Did anyone else think Helen, Ash and Winston looked completely stupid breaking out of the house or have I completely lost my sense of humour? .. I thought it looked cringeworthy for people who are nearly in their thirties acting like thirteen year olds

@Misty It smacked of three people desperate to do something they though might make the public giggle the week before the final.

It couldn’t have looked more false if they’d each been holding a script.

My new, carefully investigated, mulled over for hours on end, intelligently debated with like minded pillars of society, theory is:

If it’s talks like a twat and looks like a twat, it’s a TWAT 😉
