“Cheeky, resourceful and tactile” ladies’ man Pav comes from an affluent background and has a traditional Sikh family. He is keen to educate the world on Sikhism and “show them that Sikhs are liberal loving people who know how to have fun”.

Pav says he has come from a ‘good, honest and hardworking background’ and has been taught to respect everyone, “stand my ground, protect my religion and always stand up for myself”.

Due to his beliefs, Pav has never cut his hair and has always worn a full turban when out socially. Although he has traditional values, his beliefs are modern and he “won’t have an arranged marriage, but will marry someone I love and care for no matter what religion they are”.

Pav works for his family’s property business, where he is equal partners with his dad and uncle. He describes it as his dream job but feels he needs a “fit secretary who doesn’t mind a quickie in the photo-copy room”. He also lives with his family, but he wouldn’t have it any other way: “we’re one big team, and my family mean everything to me”.

He is recently single; his ex was his best friend from university, but they split up because they felt better off as friends. Pav likes girls that are short, fun and fit, and he admits to being shallow: “looks are important to me and a strong fashion sense”.

He’s not looking for love in the house but if he’s interested in someone he won’t hide his feelings and will try it on. He says: “put a few hot girls the house please, you can’t w**k over a personality”.

Pav gets on well with fun, level-headed people. He calls himself a prankster and says he is always causing mischief; in the house, he reckons he’ll get on particularly well with Mark as the Scouser is always looking for fun. Pav is 100% certain that he will win Big Brother because he’s genuine and he will be ‘doing it for the Sikhs’.

@Bob I can’t agree. In the end I stopped watching because of Helen and i’ve been a fan of Big Brother since it’s inception.

There have been other controversial Housemates over the years but I guess the difference is this year the public (and the Housemates) have had no say on how long that person stayed.

I think if Helen had not been given her pass to the final, and had left in the first few weeks, this years Big Brother would have been a far different and far more enjoyable show. For the Housemates as well as the viewers.

Agreed but ignoring the possible fixing issue she has been a major talking point, not saying it’s good or bad.
Did you ever get anything back from your questions to press or channel 5 btw? If this does come out as a fix then I fear that will be the death of bb.

@Bob No mate, not even an acknowledgement from any of them that they received my Email.

I got a couple of Emails from Channel 5 but they were just standard, dismissive bullshit. Nothing at all from the papers.

Do you think his behaviour will make the Sikh community vote against him?

Did I miss something ????? What has Ashleigh Chris and Christopher done to Pav to upset him?…. With his degree in psychology and the fact that he watched Helens behaviour in the beginning…….. he wouldn’t just jump on Helens band wagon surely????? He has more intelligence than that surely ????????

Yes I expected him to be more savvy, what a disappointment. Is there “method in his madness” I wonder ?

@Nicky My opinion, for what it’s worth, is that actually living in the house with Helen is actually much worse than it even appears, and that weak-minded people in the end just want to sidle up to her for an easy life.

He probably just sees that as the easier option rather than just constantly butting heads with her.

That’s all the more reason why I respect Ashleigh and believe she should win.

I’m really surprised, particularly because of his previous knowledge. I really hope Helens’ subliminal control isn’t strong enough to sway him but then again we are not in there to experience it.

If he is taking the easy option perhaps he realises he has no chance of winning so will relax for this last week.

Mind you relaxing on the same bed whilst Helen gives Ash a massage ???? Is that a bit strange, I would at least move to a different bed whilst listening to conversation – or does that make me a prude? –
    Actually I don’t care I’d rather be a prude 😀

Yes, I have gone off him, he isn’t being true to himself.

Turned into a lily livered ponce, he has added nothing to the show and I found his arselicking cringeworthy last night.

Yes, I believe he has 2 sisters, so he must be used to females & their “waterworks”– from their eyes I mean 😀 Well at least he had the guts to tell her a few home truths.

She needs it…time to wake up and smell the coffee. Strange why pav grouped with the dumbest ppl in the gouse. Maybe he wants to help her, thats why he spoke it out truthfully.
