Edele Lynch is a singer-songwriter, best known as one quarter of Irish girl group B*Witched, of which her twin sister Keavy is also a member. She is also the younger sister of Boyzone’s Shane.
B*Witched were initially active between 1998 and 2002, before reforming in 2012 for the ITV2 show The Big Reunion, which saw faded groups of stars reunite and perform their old material at a number of concerts.
The band achieved success in both Europe and the US, with eight Top 20 singles and four number ones during their four-year period of stardom. They toured America performing alongside “NSYNC and Britney Spears.
Being an all girl band without shared lead vocals caused tension within the group, and also contributed to their breaking up.
The fallout between Edele and fellow member Sinead, who had been best friends for 10 years, caused both Keavy and Edele to cut ties with her and split from the band.
After the disbandment, Edele joined the songwriting/production team Xenomania, where she co-wrote “Some Kind of Miracle” for Girls Aloud’s debut album, and “Buster”, “Situation’s Heavy” and “Twisted” for the Sugababes’ third album.
Edele met husband Michael Barrett in 2005 after being setup on a blind date, and got married a year later. They have three children together.

After Gary was saved and cheered Adele changed towards her or maybe I’m being harsh and it was those nominations which brought out her compassionate side. Whatever reason SH does now seem to be more tolerant than she was earlier in the series and seems to chat more with Gary.

Don’t get her, she had that heart wrenching moment with Gary when he came across really fatherly towards her……then she goes and nominates him! She did a similar thing to Frenchy, taking her under her wing and again nominating her. Beginning to wonder about Edele.
I really think edele fancies the pants of ricci! Shes very touchy touchy with him and did say when she was drunk that shes jealous ricci fancies lauren and not her hmmm
I think so too…..ricci was doing alot of flirting with her in the kitchen. I think hes doing that to get laurens attention.

I actually kind of like Edele but maybe it’s good for someone else to see how it feels to be nominated by nearly half your hm’s for no reason. As this had been the case for Gary nearly every week 🙁
And hopefully now she will realise just how sly some of her ‘friends’ are.

You don’t have to not nominate someone to not like them. It was awful when she told gary he couldn’t sit in the garden area where he does normally sit for dee’s benefit. That is a form of bullying.
